The JAFFA Club (Jesus A Friend For All)

The JAFFA (Jesus A Friend For All) Club meets after school on Tuesday afternoons at Guestling Bradshaw C.E.P.School.

Formerly known as the "Crazy Club", and then the "FJ (Friday Jesus) Club", it was started as Pett Methodist Chapel decided to close their Sunday School and put their efforts into an  after-school club. With help from our Anglican friends and a team of dedicated supporters, the club regularly attracted around 20 or so children, aged 7 – 11 years.

Strangely enough, our Sunday Club is now growing again, and with only limited manpower (or womanpower) at our disposal, we gratefully accepted an offer from Christian Schools Workers Hastings (CSWH) to take over the running of the after-school club.

From 3-30pm - 4-30pm on a Tuesday afternoon the children learn about Jesus and His love through games, craft, stories, drama, refreshments, songs and FUN!

We continue to maintain close links, both with the club and the school, and we ask you to remember the children and leaders, and also the school, in your prayers.

Wendy Hatch.
