Great news!

Now well into her final year of studies at Wesley College, Dawn has now received news of her first posting, which will take effect from September 2009.

Dawn will be moving to the lovely town of Alresford in Hampshire. Known to train lovers as the northern terminus of the Watercress Line, it is a beautiful part of the country and, from our point of view, has the added advantage of being a great deal closer to home than Bristol. The Alresford town website has lots of information about the area and its facilities if you are interested.

Alresford is part of the Winchester Circuit, a relatively small circuit of just 5 churches, and Dawn will have just one church in her care.

It is, by all accounts, quite a lively church, with a broad range of ages and activities. There is a church website, although when I checked it I was surprised to find that the "News" page is completely empty. I reckon they'll soon have something worth writing about, don't you?
